Strange Gadgets
It seems that everyday we have to take on small, boring tasks that we would rather leave for someone else. To spice things up, here are a few weird gadgets that will have you feeling like you’ve briefly stepped into the future.

It can handle smart mobile phones, iPods, cameras, and all sorts of other devices that we use in everyday life. This device is ideal for germaphobes or anyone wishing to rid small areas of little critters that may be hiding in pillows, carpets or lingering after a handshake. Read the rest of this entry »

This is a hard drive clock I built from a 3.5″ hard drive, some tri-color LEDs and a PIC16F252 microcontroller. It works by shining the LEDs underneath a platter with a slot cut into it, and by timing the various colors it can produce an analog clock display as well as other patterns. I got the idea from this page: alan-parekh.com And here is my page with more details: www.ian.org .
