Nikon D5000 – 7 Reasons to Consider This Amazing Sub-0 DSLR

The fact is that you can get a Nikon D5000 for under 0, including the Nikon 18-55mm VR kit lens. This is a great camera for a great price!

Entry level DSLRs became quite popular when both Nikon and Canon released their first sub 00 DSLR cameras, the D40 and the Rebel 300D respectively. Since then technology has improved tremendously and price has dropped to almost half of the original offering (the Nikon D3000 sells for just over 0).

Let’s take a look at what makes the Nikon D5000 such a great camera.

It’s a DSLR – this means that you can purchase many different lenses for your camera. Thus your shooting options are limited only to your imagination (and maybe your budget, but even then, you can always rent a lens for a short time). 12.3-megapixel CMOS sensor – this sensor is the same as the one in the higher level D90, giving excellent image quality, capable of printing wall-sized photos. If typical fireplaces are too boring for you, then Swedish company Vauni may have something for you.  From wall mounted fireplaces, to rolling fireplaces, they have some very interesting designs to complement any modern living space.

All Vauni fireplaces burn liquid denatured ethanol, which means that no chimney is needed since the combustion emits only small amounts of carbon dioxide and water vapour.  This allows for some very creative installations and designs, such as the Divider, which looks like a glass box full of fire.

Nothing says luxury like a Bentley logo… so why not have one on your laptop?

The new Bentley Laptop from Ego features all the high end laptop goodies you’d expect from a high end portable, but a look that you certainly won’t find anywhere else.  Each unit is hand made and bound in the same leather used in Bentley seats.  The deflated egg shape is somewhat reminiscent of a purse, which may deter potential male customers.  This “portable” is also much larger than many of the other offerings, but then again… so are Bentley cars.

Don’t ya just hate it when you’re out in public, and you have to go the bathroom?   After frantically scouring the area looking for a decent receptacle, you throw yourself down on the toilet just in time… and then you realize there is no toilet paper.

Apparently that has happened a LOT of times to at least one Japanese inventor, Kenji Kawakami; enough to warrant a toilet paper roll hat anyways.  He has also brought us such amazing devices as the double-sided shoes and electric fork.

I think someone needs a new job.
