Ground breaking new research has determined that plants actually clean the air! Alright, it’s not actually a new concept, but now someone has created a device to try to harness and speed up that process… on a small scale. The botanical air cleaner utilizes a plants natural phytoremediation capabilities to remove volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) from the air in the room.

Vacuum Guru Dyson has done it again! They have taken an existing technology and made it just slightly better for way more money! Ok, so it’s not very impressive on paper, but it looks really cool!
The $300 Dyson Air Multiplier “uses Air Multiplier™ technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times, producing an uninterrupted stream of smooth air. With no blades or grill, it’s safe, easy to clean and doesn’t cause unpleasant buffeting.” I’m not sure what “buffeting” is, but they really seem to think it’s a big deal. Whether or not it’s worth spending 10 times as much on a fan… I really doubt it. But if you’re dead set on having every item in your house look as futuristic as possible, then this may be the fan for you!

How cool is this – a cooler that not only carries a case of your favorite beverage, it also zips around at speeds of up to 15 mph! Talk about a modern day convenience that will be a admired everywhere you drive it!
