Conceptual artist Caleb Larsen has created a work of art that literally sells itself. Just look at that amazing black cube… how could you not buy it?
Ok… ok… I’ll admit, it’s not the most impressive looking piece of art, but that’s not what makes it so unique. Larsen’s “A Tool to Deceive and Slaughter” actually connects to the internet and sells itself on eBay.
The rules are very specific… the new owner MUST keep it online at all times! This is because Larsen’s artwork pings eBay’s server every 10 minutes to see if it is listed for sale or not. If there is no active auction going, it creates a new auction.
This is NOT a conceptual piece… this ACTUALLY sells itself on eBay, and has been bought and sold several times since 2008. The current price is listed at $4,250.

I can’t see myself ever wasting my time and money on something like this… what about you? Can you think of any worthwhile reason to purchase this?

I propose it IS. And even to a very high degree.
Think about it….
