@chicoman5384 your ram wipes itself every time you turn off your computer. for example, it only saves things like word ducments that havn’t been saved yet. All your files will be saved on your hard disc.
My desktop has 2gb of ram BUT i got a 16gb flash drive and made my desktop use that as ram. SO NOW I HAVE 16gb OF RAM FOR 10x LESS MONEY IT WOULD BE TO BUY 14gb OF RAM CARDS!

@pspmed yes and I said I was wrong with one thing there but the ESD cable is still one of the very important tools you’ll need if you’re going to build a computer, without it you’ll have a high chance of shocking your computer with static electricity, it changes the “electricity” in your body to the same level as the case which the motherboard is connected to so you won’t gick the component an static electric shock which can wipe out the entire computer, you needed it before and you need it now.

so u use an esd cable u ground it to your case the case is connected to you motherboard the motherboar is well connected to everything else in your computer,.
u see where im going with this
@pspmed yeye anyway, you still need the ESD cable to minimize the chances to shock the components.

@pspmed no, you still need the ESD cable or you’ll risk breaking your components, it’s still like that and will always be like that, and it’s not the motherboard that gets destroyed but the component it self.(unless it’s the motherboard you destroyed ofc..)
